This adventure-filled itinerary was designed to highlight many of Ecuador’s top attractions. The small-group adventure will start in the capital city of Quito, which is located about 9,000 feet high in the Andes Mountains. Tour participants will explore Quito’s most famous churches and museums, as well as dine at its finest restaurants. There will also be an all-day excursion deep into the rainforest, during which guests will view wildlife, as well as enjoy optional zip line and river raft activities. The group will then fly to the Galapagos Islands, and will board a “first-class” yacht with a maximum size of 36 passengers. For the next five days and four nights, guests will enjoy private rooms on the boat, and will explore the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Galapagos Islands. Following in the footsteps of an onboard naturalist, tour participants will view giant tortoises, iguanas, seals, sea turtles, sea rays, and countless bird species. Most days will be spent hiking, enjoying beach settings, and snorkeling with wildlife. Locations visited on this tour will include Quito and the Galapagos Islands Marine Park.
